Project 52

There’s the Project 365 where people take a photo everyday for 1 year but I’m a lazy slob so I’m just gonna do a Project 52 where I’ll pick my photo for the week. Since it’s already a week late, I’ll upload two photos today. For last week, and this week.

Project 52 – Week 1: New Year, New Job

New Year. I want a new job. Thus, I need to create a resume. And at first I thought it’d be nice to include an ID photo of myself in my resume but I’m too cheap to have it taken in a studio so I took photos of myself in the bathroom. LOL

ID, Jan. 1

Later on I dropped the idea of putting an ID photo of myself in my resume. I think resumes appear more professional when there isn’t a face grinning from ear to ear on it. Did it work? I’d say 3 job offers says so.

Project 52 – Week 2: Home Improvements

Eli wanted to do some home improvements before the baby comes so the house is a total mess at the moment. He has a lot of ideas but I’m not excited about his idea of creating climbing walls out of our living room walls though. My husband. Such an eccentric being.

Roadtrip to Las Vegas

We stayed 4 days 3 nights at Caesars Palace and for our entire stay there, I only ate seafood that I developed rashes on my thighs but I didn’t care because it was worth it.

Was finally able to watch Cirque du Soliel’s “O” show which was absolutely afuckingmazing. It’s a childhood dream come true.

I forgot my DSLR though so I had to settle with my Blackberry Curve’s camera.

Las Vegas is like being in another world… you see people who aren’t afraid to risk it all and fuck it all, performers who seem to be not human, extreme emotions, bad vibes and good vibes abound, the energy, the force, and hedonistic souls who has no regards to what has been defined as moral.

It is superficial, yet profound.
