I’ve Been Punk’d!
At around 10PM last night, Eli chatted with me from the office to tell me we’re going out for dinner. We always have very late night dinner out (sometimes at 2 am) so this was nothing new. Apparently, he gave his set of keys to these people pictured below before meeting with me so they could get into the house.
We had dinner in Makan at IT park at around 11.30, then went home right after. Usually, Eli goes back to the office, but this time, he said he’ll come home with me because he needs to poo-poo.
When we got home, I saw a pair of fins by the door! Since I had told him I wanted a snorkel and a pair of fins, I thought that was why he came home with me so he could surprise me with his gift. Hahaha! I said “Oh Baby, you got me a pair of fins!” and he said, “Uh, no I didn’t.” I thought he was kidding then I noticed that his set of keys were on the door so I opened the door and lo and behold, the CS Cebu peeps we’re inside waiting for me with a birthday cake and song.
Apparently, the pair of fins were Sebastos’s, and he forgot to bring them inside hahaha!
While we were enjoying the cake, the door suddenly opens and confetti were everywhere! The Evil Ampaos came to surprise me too! If I had been over 80, I think I would have had a heart attack from these people.
And I learned that the greatest thing about having good friends is: They buy you cakes on your birthday.
What was that? A life time of great friendship?
