Dear Diary,
TrafficSupport is trying to pirate me to work for them. One of the owners, Eli and the HR head invited me to a dinner at Krua Thai to interview me and discuss their offer. Long story short, I took their offer and when I got into a cab after the interview, I thought, “Shit, that Eli boss is cute.”
November, 2007
Dear Diary,
So I’ve started working at TrafficSupport. Spent a week working with Eli before he had to fly back to the US.I don’t shit on my own backyard so I can’t flirt with the boss. When he left for the US, we shook hands. But I got the feeling he wanted to hug me. Weird.

Resigned from TS. Eli said he was disappointed with my decision. Sorry cute boss.
October 2008
Dear Diary,
Kim and Racky bought me a return ticket from Iloilo to Cebu and back so I could be at Vera’s birthday last October 2. Emi, my little Miss Matchmaker friend who now works for TrafficSupport, knew I had a secret crush on my ex-boss. She tells me that Eli is in Cebu, and tells Eli that I was in town for just a couple of days and goes on to suggest he should invite me for coffee or dinner. Eli at first thought I was mad at him and wondered if inviting me was a good idea. Emi assures him that I wasn’t mad at him and Eli eventually agrees. Little Miss Matchmaker tells me that Eli wants to invite me for coffee as if that decision solely comes from him (when in fact it was her little devious and mischievous way). I thought maybe Eli just wants to try to convince me to go back to TS.
So Eli and I met for coffee, talked non-stop about non work-related stuff, had some beers, talked more and to make the story short, after hours of talking and having a good time, he starts to touch my hand and goes on to ask, “Would I get in trouble if I kissed you?”
I smiled and thought, “Fucking hell, you’d get in trouble if you didn’t.” LOL!
Then I eventually find out he’s been attracted to me since the interview. A week after he flies to IloIlo to be with me, and then we head to Boracay. Now, we’re both together in Cebu.
